Brady's first campus tour

A few weeks ago, Brady went away to college! No, not to Standford University, which is only 5 miles away... the family took a quick road trip to UC Berkeley and had a great time storming the campus! Brady even tried out for the football team while he was there. They're getting back to us about a scholarship :)

Easter 2010

This year, Easter was a little sad for the Eatherton California contingency, seeing that all our family was in Chicago and we had only been here for a few weeks. But, as always, we made the best of it! We found a really great (free) Easter egg hunt in Mountain View and Brady enjoyed picking through what felt like millions of plastic eggs. On Easter Sunday, we had a quiet morning at the house and did Skype calls with both families, so that helped (a little). In the afternoon, an old childhood friend of Matt's who lives in CA came by to visit with his wife and beautiful little girl, Joslyn.

So, yippee! Matt found the camera charger in the toolbox. I'm sure there's a logical explanation for how it got there. My money is on Brady. Anyway... we juiced up the bad boy and I hope you're ready, because here are a ton of pictures from the last month or so (over a few posts).

What you won't find are pictures of the house because, well, it's still not ready for show just yet. We're getting there, so I hope to have some up very soon!

Ugh... still no camera!

We've been in CA for two weeks now and you're probably wondering, "where are all the pictures?!" Well unfortunately, in my packing haste, I think I accidentally threw away the camera charger... so we've had a dead battery the entire time we've been here. We hope to have a new one soon. Then, more pics will come!

In the meantime, I've taken a few of the big guy with the iPhone and here they are...

Watch out CA, the Eathertons have arrived in Mountain View! We are elbow deep in boxes, but are feverishly trying to get settled in as soon as possible. We are so thankful to have wonderful parents who helped to make our transition into our new "home" an easy one. There was a lot of work to be done on the old shack, but it's actually starting to grow on me a bit. The backyard itself is every city girl's dream come true. Brady and Tinely are loving it!! The weather here has been outstanding and there is nothing but sunshine and 70s in the 7 day forecast. More to come soon...
